I shot this image while in Rhode Island.
I think if I ever did step out a moment, it would be for love. If I felt I was losing something so special, I would do everything in my power to keep it whole. Even if it is out of my character. That is what love is all about. You must sacrifice. The thing is, you must not see it that way.
The number one thing in any relationship, is respect. There cannot be any degrading, name calling, dishonesty, or assumptions. We all assume, of course. And our minds can wander at times, but we have to be able to recognize these things and take control. The best part of it all is that we learn. And we never stop learning. Each step is a new growth. If you think you know it all, and need no direction, you have so much to learn.
We continue to learn, even in our eldest ages. And that goes for all in life, not just the art of relationships. In the end, it is what we have seen or felt that really counts. Experience is the only way to learn. To really learn.
And if you are too afraid to take steps, you will only feel the water at your feet--you will never feel the whole of the ocean.
