I shot this image at Gouldsboro State Park in autumn. One thing that I always seem to think of is that bear eat out of the park's garbage cans a lot,... so they warn to keep lids closed. Luckily, I have not ever ran across one.
I did however, see a baby bear cross in front of my car one afternoon--I had stopped to shoot a photograph of it as it went up a hill, but thought its mother must be close by and how protective she must be. With that thought, I decided to get back in my car. ;)
